2010年，天湘板业携手万华集团合作推出零甲醛禾香板，零甲醛禾香板是真正不释放甲醛的人造板，结束了传统人造板必然释放甲醛的历史。天湘板业是全国第一家生产无甲醛家居全品类材料的专业经营企业。

2011年，天湘板业在行业内首个提出“家居材料全品类集成供应商”经营模式，并着手筹备以三聚氰胺饰面板为主的家具配套系列产品，并在新产品上的设计、配套与测试等各方面展开调研工作。

2012年7月，天湘板业在第十四届国际建博会上正式上市以三聚氰胺饰面板为主的家居配套各种产品及一站式服务体系，家具配套产品中有同色包覆线条、同色包覆铝型材、同色PVC膜、同色吸塑门板、同色百叶板、同色封边条和坑槽板及各种款型个性化腰线等。
