一期项目（简称t1项目）总投资245亿元，是深圳市建市以来单笔投资额较大的工业项目，也是我国首条依靠自主创新建设的高世代液晶面板生产线。项目于2010年3月动工建设，2011年8月投产，仅仅用了17个月即建成投产，建设速度超过国内外同类项目。投产后，产能、良率爬坡，2012年9月份达到月产10万大片玻璃基板的满载产能。一期项目自满产以来，持续保持满产满销，目前单月产能突破15.5万大片玻璃基板，超设计能力55%。

在一期项目运营持续向好情况下，生产显示产品的二期8.5代液晶面板项目（简称t2项目）于2013年11月16日启动建设。项目总投资244亿元，选址于光明厂区预留用地。二期项目采用Cu制程、COA、MMG、Curved、RGBW、IGZO、OLED等显示技术，可为消费者提供超高清（8K4K），高色域，超轻薄、节能、高画质及自发光的新型显示产品。t2项目于2015年4月24日，提前50天实现量产，目前产能已超130K。t2项目成功开发并导入生产国内较早应用Cu/Cu制程+COA技术的全球较高穿透率的液晶面板，形成了高穿透率的核心产品竞争力，在增加产能规模的同时，大大增强华星技术实力。

深圳市华星光电半导体显示技术有限公司（简称t6项目）于2016年6月24日成立，公司选址于深圳市光明新区红坳社区，投资465亿建设第11代TFT-LCD及AMOLED新型显示器件生产线。公司注册资本215亿，设计产能9万大片玻璃基板，将采用Cu 制程、Oxide、PFA、POA、LOC、Super GOA、OLED Printing等技术，主要产品为43 、65 、75 液晶显示屏，OLED显示屏，超大型公共显示屏等。t6项目于2016年11月30日开工建设，计划于2017年12月主厂房封顶，2018年底点亮生产线，2019年一季度开始量产。
