新华社伦敦２月７日电（记者张家伟）尽管此前有研究对电子烟的健康影响给出差评，英国研究人员在新一期美国《内科学纪事》期刊上报告说，与传统香烟相比，电子烟对身体造成的危害更低。

这项研究由英国癌症研究会资助，伦敦大学学院研究人员领衔开展。研究对象涵盖吸传统香烟的人、改吸电子烟的人以及使用尼古丁替代疗法（尼古丁贴片和尼古丁咀嚼胶等）的人。研究人员通过分析研究对象的唾液和尿液，比较了他们体内一些有害化学物质的水平。

结果发现，与长期吸传统香烟的人相比，那些完全转为使用电子烟或尼古丁替代疗法至少６个月的人体内有毒和致癌物质的水平要低很多。研究人员也指出，那些使用电子烟或尼古丁替代疗法的同时还继续吸传统香烟的人，体内有毒物质水平并未出现明显差异。

报告作者之一、伦敦大学学院学者莱昂·谢哈布说，这项研究中的证据说明，电子烟比传统香烟更安全，长期使用带来的健康风险不高。

电子烟主要由电池、加热蒸发装置和一个装着烟液的烟管组成，烟液中含一定量尼古丁，许多烟液产品会模仿香烟中含尼古丁的比例来调配。使用时通过供电发热让烟液挥发、形成烟雾，达到“吞云吐雾”的效果。

英美两国监管机构对这类产品看法差异很大。英国药品与保健品管理局曾批准部分电子烟产品以戒烟辅助工具的身份上市销售。而美国政府２０１６年１２月发布的一份报告说，年轻人使用电子烟问题已成为美国的“公共卫生威胁”。

世界卫生组织则在相关报告中说，目前没有充分证据证实电子烟可帮助戒烟，吸烟者只有完全戒断尼古丁，才能最大程度有益健康。

Leon schehab, a scholar at University College London and one of the authors of the report, said the evidence in the study showed that e-cigarettes were safer than traditional cigarettes and that the health risks of long-term use were not high. Electronic cigarette is mainly composed of battery, heating and evaporation device and a cigarette tube containing liquid smoke. The liquid smoke contains a certain amount of nicotine.
