西泠印社创立于清光绪三十年（1904），是我国现存历史悠久的文人社团，也是海内外成立将早的金石篆刻专业学术团体。

西泠印社社址坐落于浙江省杭州市西湖景区孤山西麓，南至白堤，西近西泠桥，北邻里西湖，占地面积7088.86平方米，建筑总面积1749.77平方米。
