“胡开文”自清代乾隆四十七年(公元一七八二年)由绩溪人胡天注创造以来,已有二百多年历史。一九一五年胡氏精心制作的“苍珮室”牌“地球墨”在巴拿马万国博览会展出并获金质奖章。绩溪胡开文墨厂的前身即起首“胡开文老店”由绩溪各字号胡开文墨庄和作坊于1995年公私合营组成。1998年县书画油烟材料厂和县胡开文墨厂合并成立安徽绩溪胡开文墨业有限公司后,形成了从炼烟到制墨成品一体化的生产体系。

公司设有炼烟、制墨、雕模、晾墨、打摩、描金等十多个生产车间、一个设备齐全的油烟材料和墨锭理化检测中心;公司拥有明清以来名家创作的珍贵墨模八千余付,一千多个品种。

公司在制墨生产工艺流程中,既认真吸取老胡开文工艺精髓,恪守传统操作规范,同时锐意改革、精心设计制作优美的新型雕版,形成了特有的艺术风格.公司认真钻研科学配方,产品选料严格,自制油烟、自己熬制做墨胶,采用纯油烟、麝香冰片等多种珍贵药材精制而成;产品具有拈毫不腻、挥洒自如、落纸如漆、润泽生光、藏久愈佳、不裂不燥等特点,是书画必不可少的工艺美术品。1999年公司开发了“苍珮室”牌“超细油烟墨”、“超细松烟墨”系列产品,带动了整个徽墨业质量的提高; 2001年公司利用生产桐油烟的优势开发了“苍珮室”牌“桐油烟书画墨汁”系列产品,具有宜书宜画、色泽光亮、落纸如漆、气味清香等特点,深受消费者青睐;2005年公司又先后研发出了超顶漆烟、桐油漆烟和桐漆顶烟系列产品,将徽墨产业推向了又一个历史新高潮,公司制作的超顶漆烟墨、千秋光、万年枝、华墨等产品在实用上达到了新境界,龙川墨、绩溪八景、徽风古韵、和谐承徽等众多产品不仅具有实用价值,而且还具有很高的收藏价值和艺术价值。
