In the 1940s, Swiss manufacturer a & rweidemar launched the world's first modular drawer locker. In 1958, kleinoder, a mould manufacturer in Brooklyn, USA, started to produce and sell weidemar storage cabinets in the United States under the brand of weidemar. In 1962, the weitima storage cabinet was used as a part of the first batch of copiers produced by haloid Corporation (later Xerox). In 1965, at the invitation of Xerox, wittima opened a factory in Allentown, Pennsylvania. A year later, kleinoder sold the company to Stanley, a new British company in Connecticut, which is officially open to the world. In 1966, Stanley weidima invested in the factory in Allentown. Since then, Stanley weitima has realized the increasing demand of customers for efficient and durable storage products, as well as the importance of space, cost and production efficiency to all industries, and is committed to providing integrated storage solutions in the future. On March 15, 2010, Stanley announced to merge with Baide to form the company.
