玉振古筝储备大量的优质桐木、白松、红木、楠木、紫檀。原材料30000台的充足储备能力，使古筝原材料的处理周期得到了保障。底板和面板均源自河南兰考专业级桐木，主体框架采用柔韧性好且利于音质传导的上好白松。老红木系列采用缅甸、泰国等东南亚国家进口的缅酸枝；楠木系列采用距今2000多年前汉代的金丝楠木；紫檀系列采用从非洲马达加斯加进口的小叶紫檀作为古筝外框用材。

玉振的弦轴板选用特制的高密度弦轴板，通过严格扭矩测试，弦轴钉起始扭力统一达到15n/m，力求音准的稳定性，并能防止运输震动和琴弦张力改变引起的弦轴松动。

玉振所有琴弦全部采用德国进口钢丝制成的琴弦，低音浑厚，中音柔和，高音清脆明亮，使演奏者可以明显感到得心应手。
