山东英才学院创建于1998年，坐落在山东省省会济南。2008年，经国家教育部批准，学校升格为普通本科高校。学院占地1641亩，学校现设学前教育学院、信息工程学院、机械制造及自动化工程学院、建筑工程学院、外国语与国际交流学院、经济管理学院、商学院、艺术学院、医学院（老年服务与管理学院）、汽车工程学院，以及基础教学部、公共体育教学部等12个教学院（部）；设有学前教育、机械设计制造及其自动化、物流管理等30个本科专业。
