1949年8月，湖南和平解放，凯旋门迎来了新的春天。1954年合并白宫照相馆，搬迁至五一广场，新建4层营业大楼。1956年公私合营，60年代开展技术革新活动，取得了光电测密印相机、电动座机、照相油压阀门等一批攻关成果。“文革”期间受到冲击，改名“人民摄影社”，1978年恢复原名。80年代初引进彩色冲印。1988年成立凯旋门摄影公司。90年代初吸纳台湾婚纱摄影风格，年收入过千万大关，成为湖南省内颇大的照相企业。

1996年为支持长沙市五一广场商业特区建设，迁至蔡锷中路开店。2000年9月回迁五一广场（新世界大厦一楼）营业。2003年进行国企改革，成立长沙市凯旋门摄影有限责任公司。同年3月在东塘开设数码摄影店。2006年3月吸收合并长沙市爱菲尔摄影有限责任公司，实力壮大。之后积极发展望城、星沙两家加盟店。2013年斥资引进合作伙伴，升级服务，共同打造“凯旋门皇家摄影”婚纱品牌，同时进驻长沙市芙蓉区浏阳河婚庆文化园开辟实景拍摄基地。
