河北银行成立于1996年5月28日，是全国较早一批5家试点城市合作银行之一，由石家庄市区48家城市信用社组建为石家庄城市合作银行，1998年6月和2009年11月，先后更名为石家庄市商业银行和河北银行。2012年6月，省委、省政府为做大做强地方金融产业，将其纳入省级管理，成为全省一家省属法人银行。

英文翻译：Founded on May 28, 1996, Hebei bank is one of the first five pilot city cooperative banks in China. It was established as Shijiazhuang City cooperative bank by 48 city credit cooperatives in Shijiazhuang city. In June 1998 and November 2009, it was renamed as Shijiazhuang City Commercial Bank and Hebei bank. In June 2012, in order to make the local financial industry bigger and stronger, the provincial Party committee and the provincial government incorporated it into the provincial management and became a provincial legal person bank. At present, Bank of Hebei has 237 branches in total, including 13 branches in 11 cities divided into districts, Tianjin and Qingdao, and 80 County branches, realizing the full coverage of county institutions around the capital. In addition, Xibaipo Jiyin village bank and Jiyin Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. were established. The bank has 4452 formal on-the-job employees, including 651 doctoral and postgraduate students.
