It can be used at about 100 ℃, with good electrical properties and high-frequency insulation. Polyethylene is odorless, nontoxic and waxy. It has excellent low temperature resistance, good chemical stability, resistance to most of the acid and alkali erosion (not resistant to the acid with oxidation property). It is insoluble in general solvents at room temperature, with small water absorption and excellent electrical insulation. Thermoplastic vulcanized rubber (TPV) is composed of two parts: one is plastic as continuous phase, the other is rubber as dispersed phase. It is green, recyclable and can be reused for six times without obvious performance degradation, meeting the requirements of EU environmental protection.
