武汉音乐学院是国内中部地区较早独立设置的高等音乐学府。学校座落在历史悠久、人文荟萃的武昌古城，解放路校区位于湖北省武汉市武昌区解放路255号，毗邻的滨江校区位于武昌区张之洞路1号。
