通德酿造有限公司前身为“通德号”。公元1901年（清光绪二十七年），创始人任金栋兴办酿造作坊，酿制小米酒、黑米枸杞醋，起名“通德号”。 1931年， 第二代传人任善文继承父业，增设了酱油酱菜作坊。1936年在济南市天桥区保华街设立通德分号。1956年，“通德号”加入公私合营，与另外六家相关行业创办了《平原县酿造制酒厂》，任善文先生任生产技术厂长。1992年，第三代传人任继祥与其子任万平在原籍北任村自建厂房，自营“通德号”，起名通德酒厂。1997年成立《通德酿造有限公司》，第四代传人任万平任董事长兼总经理。2007年第五代传人任博正式加入通德公司，任总经理。

In 1936, Tongde branch was established in Baohua street, Tianqiao District, Jinan City. In 1956, "Tongde" joined the public-private partnership, and established Pingyuan brewing and distillery with six other related industries, with Mr. Ren Shanwen as the production technology director. In 1992, Ren Jixiang, the third-generation successor, and his son Ren Wanping built their own factory in beiren village of their origin, with their own "Tongde number", named Tongde distillery. In 1997, Tongde Brewing Co., Ltd. was established, and WAN Ping, the fourth generation successor, was the chairman and general manager. In 2007, the fifth generation successor Ren Bo formally joined Tongde company as general manager.
